Gambling On TV

My husband has discovered a monster! Last night, while flipping through the channels and playing with the remote control, he accidentally discovered that there were games installed on our TV. I knew that, of course, but I hadn't said anything (not purposefully, believe it or not. It just never came up). He's got Playstation II and the computer, so I figured why would he need to play games on the TV? There is Tetris and some other games and of course, there is......drum roll.....The Slot Machine!

My husband has a bit of a weakness for gambling but as long as it's only on the TV and the slot machine at his brother's house, I don't mind. No, wait, I do mind! He spent over an hour last evening playing the slots superimposed on whatever was on TV. Well, I didn't mind since I was busy on the computer and the phone. And he knew when to quit and we ate dinner in front of the TV together watching "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen".

Haha - you have to let a man have his gambling time... It's only fair.

Thanks for posting on my blog.

Hm... I've always been so wary of gambling. I just feel like I'm the type of person that would bet my own baby in the heat of the moment. Ok I'm sure I'm exaggerating but you get the picture. lol Thanks so much for coming by earlier. Hope the hubby doesn't get too hooked on the tv games!

jenny, ur right and i can't complain at all indeed. he doesn't have too many afflictions and the few he's got, he can keep in check. i bet ya he can blog about me till his fingers bleed lol.

fragile: gambling can be pretty serious and scary. i've visited a few casinos in my life but always with a limited amount of cash and absolutely no crdit/debit cards, cheques or any other source of money. it works. once your cash's gone, it's not interesting anymore and you just leave.

fragile: I bet you'd get so addicted you'd wager your own baby and be one of those people that uses Depends so that you don't waste time having to use the washroom.
